Every hydroelectric power plant is expected to be carefully evaluated if it is feasible technically, financially, environmentally and socioeconomically. In order for these projects to be highly profitable and efficient, first it should be duly approved by the concerned communities; second it should be a project that has minimal negative environmental impact; third it should follow the international standards of hydropower plant construction; and last it should be cost sensitive in terms of construction, operation and maintenance matters.
